Description
Where Paws Meet Play! Unleash your Puppies Potential
Training our puppies should be more than learning to sit and stay. Our puppy socialization course is a structured, positive-reinforcement training program designed to expose young puppies to a variety of safe, positive, and controlled experiences.
Elements of our program include:
Socialization to People and Dogs: Supervised, off-leash play sessions with other vaccinated puppies and controlled, positive introductions to different types of people (men, women, children, people wearing hats, etc.) to develop confidence and appropriate social skills.
Exposure to Novel Stimuli: Introducing the puppy to unusual sights, sounds, textures, and objects, such as different surfaces (tile, carpet, wood), household noises (vacuum, doorbells), and moving items (skateboards, carts) to help them habituate and not fear the general environment.
Basic Obedience and Manners: Teaching foundational cues like “Sit,” “Down,” “Come,” and “Loose-Leash Walking.” These commands are often practiced with distractions to build focus and control in distracting, real-world situations.
Owner Education: Discussion of common puppy issues, such as house training, nipping/biting, crate training, and preventing resource guarding, empowering owners to continue positive training and socialization at home.
Our overall goal is to build a confident, well-adjusted, and resilient dog that is comfortable and relaxed in the world.
Requirement: Must be enrolled in Puppy Kindergarten and register with instructor
